Rules and Regulations

Dear guests,

By entering this site you agree to abide by these house rules. VALALTA-NATURIST is a tourist facility intended for families. The term "Valalta facility" refers to the entire complex: the camp, permanent structures, beach and the other areas of Valalta.

General

  1. Daily quiet periods are from 1pm to 3 pm, and from midnight to 7 am. In order to ensure peace and quiet we ask guests to use motor vehicles as little as possible. If it is absolutely necessary to drive then this should be at no faster than walking speed and no faster than 20km/h in any case. Valalta reserves the right to shorten the night-time quiet period for special events.
  2. Minors (under the age of 18) may be accommodated only in the company of parents, guardians or legally authorised persons who will take responsibility for their behaviour and who must ensure that their activities are in no way detrimental to the rest, peace and security of other guests. Parents are responsible for the behaviour of their children for the entire duration of their stay at the facility. Children must be accompanied by an adult when using sanitary facilities and must be supervised when bathing in the sea. Correspondingly, we ask for a little understanding and tolerance on the part of adults for the lively activities of children.
  3. We ask guests to hand other people's lost property in to Reception. Forgotten items are kept at the facility Reception and guests are informed of such items. Valalta has no obligation to forward such items to guests' home address.
  4. The management cannot be held responsible for damage or injuries caused to persons or items, such as theft, breakage, force majeure, emotional anguish or other causes that are not the result of negligence on the part of employees of Valalta. We ask guests to look after their property and take all measures to safeguard it. For a fee, a safe is available at Reception for safekeeping of money and other valuables.
  5. Guests can collect information and post from Reception. Guests will be called personally in the event of an emergency.
  6. Photography and video recording of persons within the facility is prohibited without their consent.
  7. The management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest at the facility whose behaviour disturbs the peace and harmony of other guests and who does not comply with the house rules. All those persons who disturb the peace and order of the facility under the influence of alcohol will be removed from it. This particularly applies to minors under the influence of alcohol who, in the event of a disturbance to the peace and order of the facility, will be removed together with the responsible adult (parents, guardian or legally authorised person).
  8. Animals are not permitted in any part of the facility or in the harbour.
  9. Visits to friends in the camp are allowed only on foot; cars should be parked near the barrier at the left-hand side. Visitors must leave a valid personal document which will be returned to them upon leaving the camp. An entry fee will be charged for a stay longer than two hours.
  10. Persons not registered as guests of Valalta and guests who have finished their stay at Valalta may not occupy spaces in front of the entrance barrier, at the left-hand side of the facility entrance, for longer than 12 hours. This applies to parked cars, camper vans, caravans etc. The staff of Valalta monitor this area continually and will inform the relevant authorities of any irregularities.
  11. For minors under the age of 16 there is an area set aside next to the Aquagun where they can wear bathing costumes.

    Arriving and leaving

  12. On arrival at the camp, guests must supply ID cards or passports for each individual at the reception barrier for the purposes of registration. They will be given a numbered registration paper and a vehicle pass which allows entry to and exit from the facility and which must be presented on request by a member of staff. Please check the accuracy of the registration paper and the number of persons registered.
  13. Guests may choose a camp unit from those that are free. Camping equipment should be set up within the unit, which is numbered and marked. One unit may not contain more than one car, a caravan or tent and a children's tent no bigger than 2m2. Each unit has a power outlet marked with the same number. A map of power outlets and their corresponding numbers can be found on the back of the facility map. The unit number must be entered into the registration paper and as soon as possible, not longer than 6 hours after entry into the facility, reported at the barrier reception. A subsequent move to another unit may be made after prior notification of Reception and presentation of the registration paper.
  14. New guests may sign an annual or summer agreement regarding the use of a unit only in certain parts of Zone 3. Current holders of an annual agreement in zones M and I may extend their contract, but the contract holder may not be transferred, while in Zone II the holder may be transferred with the agreement of Reception.
  15. Guests with a reservation for accommodation in bungalows, apartments, mobile homes and caravans must adhere to the period to which the reservation applies. The Reception cannot guarantee that it will fulfil all guests' wishes with regards to choice of unit number but will try to do so whenever possible. In the event of late arrival or premature departure, guests must pay for the entire reserved period. Guests wishing to extend their stay must agree this with Reception, while early departure must be announced at least two days prior to leaving. Guests must use only the parking number allotted to them. Upon arrival we request that guests compare the inventory of the accommodation unit against the inventory list and report any shortcomings to Reception the same day. The staff of Valalta monitor inventory continually and will inform Reception of any irregularities. Any damage or loss to inventory is charged according to the price list displayed in Reception and in all accommodation units, payable before departure. Repair and replacement may be carried out only by members of Valalta staff.
  16. Payment of bill: In peak season, bills can be settled 8am - 2pm and 3pm - 9pm. Working hours out-of-season are displayed on the door of Reception. In order to avoid a wait when paying your bill, we recommend that you settle up the day before departure. Please bring the registration paper with you when you come to settle your bill. You may pay for your stay in cash, with a Maestro card and with Visa or Mastercard credit cards. Between the day of payment and day of departure please present your paid bill on entry into and exit from the facility. Guests booking through agencies must have their services bill made up before departing.
